Description Kasumi Goto from Mass Effect. Holy crap, I have to say, I didn't think she would be sooo difficult. After all the other well-defined characters, needing to do this soft shading was quite a challenge! I'm not super happy with how it turned out. Also, the scanning always seems to screw things up a little and I suddenly see tiny tiny things I'm not content with. But it's ok for a first try (being my own most relentless critic as usual ).

***EDIT 18.02.14: Thanks to my wonderful commenters, now with new nose  ! Let me know what you think.***

HB & 8b pencils, graphite. Shading with blenders and fingers.

Thanks for watching! Comments and constructive criticism are very welcome!

I really like it my friend! The nose kinda looks... weird to me but I don't know exactly why. Really great job.

Thank you! Concerning the nose, the commenter below had the same idea apparently - I didn't really see that before, so thanks for pointing that out ! Maybe I will make some changes to that tonight.

Very good. This is a really good job. Just one *small* criticism: for me, the nose is a bit strange. It appears flat and lacks a little relief. The other parts are very good, especially the play of light and shadow on the eyes.

Thank you very much! And also for your criticism, that was very helpful to point out to me, thanks a lot ! I didn't notice that before you said it... apparently still needs some calibrating . I'll try to add some 3-dimensionality and structure to it.

Oh, it looks certainly better. Good job !

Just one last thing (you have the right to hate me: p): the tip  of the nose  be a little flat. Maybe the shadow goes too far in the nose (well, I don't if what I have just written sound english, sorry...)

(I hope I did not bore you with these small criticisms. They are ridiculous in comparison of the quality of your work.)

Thank you! And no, I won't hate you for taking the time and giving me useful advice on getting better ! The tip of the nose was a little difficult, I couldn't place the light spot on the right spot (hahaha). I think I know what you mean, the bridge of the nose (os nasal in French?) might be a bit to narrow.

So you are very welcome !

I'm afraid that wasn't what I wanted to say. (yes, yes, yes, I suck in english but I swear, I'm trying to improve my english spoken ! xD).

Well, I think it is on the upper alar cartilage : the shadow is there too thick. You could erase it a little by making a small round (or better, a somewhat elongated oval) at the tip of the nose.

Yeah, ok, now I think I know what you mean. Difficult anatomical vocabulary, I don't even know the German word for that . I will try that out !

Sorry, I had a problem with my computer. *the tip of the nose seems to be. (I mean : its curve)

And as I said, this is a really good job.
