Description

-"He does things for her without even saying anything nowadays. Doesn't even protest. He just does it."-

Headcanon for the Yakuza ending: After their generational highschool graduation, Ayano and Taro got promptly married, leaving many of their peers equally surprised and baffled due to the fact that it seemed quite unexpected and out of place - far too quick and early as well, seeing as how they were both merely nineteen and unemployed - unable to sustain themselves in their spousal co-existence at such a young, inexperienced age. And quite honestly, had little to no interaction while they were still attending the said school - of course, after a round of blackmailing, brainwashing, conditioning, threatening and severe Stockholm Syndrome-ing, alongside a line-up of infamous murder and kidnapping sprees in their school district which more or less ended up shut down by the authorities afterwards, Taro reluctantly married Ayano while Ryoba cheered her daughter on, happy that she's found something to fulfill her, finally, while Mr. Aishi saw history repeat itself in a far too familiar scenario - on the other hand, Taro wasn't enthusiastic on his wedding day and he sure wasn't enthusiastic after it, though - and many people noticed his sour predisposition, naturally. The issue of where their funds mysteriously came from also became a thing of talk in general. Taro was a stay-at-home-father and naturally, perpetually unemployed and house-bound - taking care of a daughter who was born almost immediately after the marriage took place. Ayano on the other hand - well, Ayano. It started out with a few tattoo patterns around her arms and a few suspicious calls and the like. But, as time passed on, they became more and more plentiful. Tattoos and the nocturnal absences as well. Pretty soon, the inking covered her entire back. And a larger and larger income of money filling their house budget by the month even though none of them any obvious profession or career involved in. Alongside a possible arsenal of guns, knives and other illegal equipment hidden in their basement possibly. Taro was pretty certain he knew what his wife was involved in, but he'd rather not think about it, his stress and past trauma driving him to develop an aversion to even dare question anything anymore - perhaps even fearing for his daughter's life and overall future in an environment like this. Everyone else could feel something rather off about the otherwise sweet-seeming, wholesome Ayano who developed the habit of constantly smiling after her marriage - especially around her rather silent, detached husband, though. Not like they could pinpoint what was haunting their minds. Not entirely, anyway. Except well, that she was a closeted gang-member.
