Ah, I've seen it, it's just been a while. No worries.

Even then, everyone has their opinion on it. I think the big reason GODZILLA'S REVENGE gets so much flack isn't because it's a kids' film, it's the stock footage that throws people off.

I should. It's definitely one of my favorite Godzillas, and quite possibly my favorite out of the Showa designs.

My personal favorite is the one from Monster Zero and Sea Monster (Daisenso-Goji I think it's called). It's got a nice balance of bulk and a salamander-ish head that I'm really fond of.

I always switch between GMK and the Daisenso as my favorites.

Well, Gabara is quite the bully (not to mention ballsy) by picking on the son of Godzilla, so I would assume Godzilla and Minilla would be the last creatures to befriend Gabara.

But thanks, man! Minilla was the big concern here. I didn't want to make him look too goofy, nor did I want him straying away too far from the original.

P.S: like i said before too, taking an ugly/goofy thing like that and making him into some cool and moderately serious really says something in general and about your skill

No problem dude! you seriously did an awesome job on him. i mean i've never seen a cool/not ugly Minilla before. using the original design, you just somehow morphed that ugly thing into something cool and awesome. it's like you gave him a facelift lol. he doesn't look goofy and actually looks like he would be worthy of the title the "Son of Godzilla", though i still prefer the Jr. from Mecha G III which became the new Godzilla in vs. Destroyah.

but definitely, in my opinion, making this Minilla was certainly a milestone in your career. really awesome job dude, and like i said, i can't wait for this to be colored

Wait, you mean the drawing here or the bully kid (who is also named Gabara)? The drawing is based on the fight scene from the movie with Godzilla just cheering his son on ("Go for the jugular! THE JUGULAR!"). The kid more or less knew where he stood and realized that Ichiro (the main kid character from the movie) wasn't a pushover, and they learned to get along.

Ohhhhh never mind, i misread your comment. i thought when you said "....would be the last to befriend Godzilla and Minilla" i thought you mean he was the last one to be befriended by them. but now i see that you meant that they wouldn't befriend him at all.
