This is my entry for DragHeti 's contest. This is my character Lyddia and his character Rilla. They were supposed to be watching the sunrise, but they're kind of looking away from it.

I decided to come up with a reason that these two characters, who live in different worlds, would meet, so here it is: Lyddia couldn't sleep one night, so she borrowed (without asking) the ring of teleportation and ended up taking a wrong turn in the portal. She found herself in an entirely new world, but luckily she made a friend who showed her around. They decided to watch the sunrise before Lyddia would finally go home.

I tried a few new things with this drawing, including a different method of shading, and another new brush for part of the background. I think it turned out pretty well, if you don't look too closely to see all the mistakes.
