Your question is stupid. We play them because we enjoy it. I play the older pokemon games because i enjoy doing so. Because of Nostalgia and because The experienc share isnt overpowered and i can name my pokemon 'Fuckwit' Without it telling me The name is inapropriate.Β

Harry Potter is different thing. It's a story, and there's only ONE Harry Potter (there are things similiar to it, but HARRY is only one).
With pokemon however it's the same story and gameplay every time with only some changes. It's like choosing between old barely-working car, and new ecological, cheap and overall better car. You can have nostalgic memories with that old one and really enjoy driving in it, but objectively looking the new one is better. (even if you don't like it)
Though you are 100% right with experience share and naming pokemon. (I don't know why would I want to call my pokemon "fuckwit" but it's nice to have an option )

I actually dont enjoy most of the mechanics in X and Y. I prefer most of the older games mechanics. Yes 3D is a nice new gimick but i STILL prefer playing Fire Red on an old Game boy Advanced. Its not at all like buying a new car or keeping your lemon of a car. Its like picking between a new car or a classic muscle car. The new car might be fuel efficent and look new and modern, but the classics are always more fun to drive. Its not easy to beat the earlier games, so its more satisfying and rewarding. Fuckwit is what i name all my Hm slaves. Because useless pokemon is Useless.

Exactly, thats why 5th generation was my favourite. It was like i dont have to rely on older pokemon until Post game. I hope Gen 7 has region exclusive pokemon until post game... That would make me soo happy. That, Or Kanto Remakes in 3D. Thatd make me over the moon :>

Not Kanto remakes, they are already on GBA, and also Sinnoh should be remade next. Red and Blue are not as great as everyone makes them look, it's only nostalgia. Plus Kanto has many horrible pokemon.

Never going to happen I know, but i mean i can dream D:. Im hoping for Gen 7 next year as itll be the 20th anniversary of pokemon 4 days after ma birthday :>

Pokemon game with all regions will be quite unplayable (or unenjoyable), but why don't they make a game with 2 regions again? Or 3, it would also somewhat work. Or add to the remakes the original games (like a GBA ruby/sapphire in newest remakes) that would have been totally awesome!!!

I dont know why i have such a strong hatred of sinnoh, I just really do. Maybe it was the designs, Character wise and pokemon wise, maybe its the fact that i still cant play any sinnoh game without cringing. I just hated Sinnoh. I own Diamond and havent touched it in years. But yeah they should make a game like HG SS again, Like Maybe newest region is actually 2 regions beat one and then play the other. I have an idea where an all region game could be possible... but it would have to be on a Wii U and it would be a really different game

Not on that shitty console! Also Pokemon should always be on handhelds hence the name POCKEt MONsters. (the main series games at least)
Memory isn't the problem with all regions, about 90% of data is pokemon 3D models and animations. The problem is that after half of the third region you would have ALL your pokemon on level 100, and the game would became quite boring without leveling up. They theoretically could remove the 100lvl limit, but I doubt they will ever do that + after about 50lvl no pokemon evolves which also takes away the fun.
And I think that game would be too long.

Well What I kinda wish theyd do is like they do in the anime, You cant bring ANY pokemon from the last region you were in, forcing you to restart in each region(Not always a fun prospect i understand). Then you could also have these regions as stand alone games, When you reach the 8th gym of every region you can unlock the previous regions PC and then take on the elite four with whatever team of pokemon you want. Its an impossible concept, i know. I just want to play all the games as the same fking character, Literally do a better job than ash and actually become a pokemon master. Another cool concept for a pokemon spinoff game would be to play as a grunt or A pokemon trainer in training to be a professor. We could see the inner workings of team rocket and try to get to the top of that group, or have the professor game be like a pokemon trivia game that ends with you giving someone the choice of the three starter pokemon. Also it might be cool to play as a gym leader or something... but ofcourse those games arent exactly plausible either... i dream big tho

I always wanted a game where you don't need to be pokemon trainer, but for example try to win all pokemon contests. Like in Advanced anime May, who doesn't want to win battles but contests. That would be refreshing.

I was really on the fence about your Machop redesign, but wow. You really knocked it out of the park with this Crobat redesign. This looks like something you don't want to come across in the dark.

The Machop looked like it had no skin, and it's just a diagram of the muscular system. Not to mention the face looks like an otter, and that was odd. Not that the original Machop design is great, I guess you were just fighting an uphill battle.Β

uh...no...a machop is almost 100% muscle, whish is why its so muscular. Β If it didn't have any skin, you'd be able to tell. It wouldn't look that what i drew at all. Β The "otter face" was because I assume some pokemon are in between mammal and reptile. The original design was too anime-ish. I'm not a fan of that. I had to make it seem like a creature more than just a...whatever the anime machop is.

It's easier for me just to say I don't like Machop in general. Which is really easy because I don't. Any time I get a Machop, I grind it to a Machoke which is a better design. As for the face, okay I get that. Still it does look kinda weird. As for the last part of the original design, it falls into the uncanny valley. No one seems to know what a Machop is, and it looks too close to human, yet it really isn't.
