Look in the mirror and see.
That this is not who you want to be,
You don’t want to be insecure, depressed and alone.
Yet all of these things you’ve grown to know.

Your eyes are bloodshot.
Death was what they once sought.
Cheap love and friends were what they bought.
You’re a lie, this you never thought.

Smash the glass with your fist.
Let the glass shatter into bits.
Look to the chair, and there he will sit.
Pleased, with the way you react to your self, it’s a hit.
A malicious laugh from his mouth, a smile formed on his face.
You try to stop from making him stronger, but only meet his gaze.
But he grows bigger, scarier, the demon is awake.

Your anger lets him grow.
Your fear is his show.
Blackness is what he will have over you.
Then you will truly be alone.
Like never you have known.

You try to run.
But it is only his fun.
You try to find the sun.
But there is no sun, all is done.

Don’t turn back.
For all will be black.
His red eyes and yellow death will be your greatest nightmare.
His blackness will be your greatest scare.

Give up to him you will.
For you will be taken still.
He is awake your soul he will take.

You had done this to yourself.
But who was the demon true.
The one that haunted you?
Frighteningly, it was nobody but you.
