Description It's always the wannabe pirates that you'd least expect...

Even though Petpet Park is long gone and there's no guarantee that a rewritten version will surface (although at least two attempts are in progress AFAIK), there's something odd (and kinda funny) that I would like to share with everyone. In PPP's card game Cardcasters, every character card is assigned a value between 1 and 10 (10 being the strongest) for each of the four categories in the card game: Singing, Dancing, Magic, and Taunting. To an extent, these values reflect a particular character's personality and lifestyle in their personal life. For instance, the grumpy witch Grimelda has a whopping value of 10 in Magic to reflect her everlasting passion in witchcraft.

The oddity comes in when we bring up the character shown in the drawing: Noralina . For those who haven't played PPP (or actually have but don't remember much about Noralina), this petpet (known as an Ombat) is a wealthy and calm-minded woman who, despite her family's wishes and background, wants to be a pirate. While she has served some significant roles in sidequests throughout PPP's lifespan, she merely appears to be easygoing and not too much of a big deal overall. However, Cardcasters statistics report that Noralina has a high value in ALL FOUR CATEGORIES. A nine in Singing, a nine in Dancing, an eight in Magic, and a nine in Taunting!

While Noralina doesn't have the maximum value of 10 in any of the four categories, the fact that she has excellent stats across the board suggest that there may be more to her than the PPP lore might be letting on! These stats imply that Noralina, despite her ladylike appearance and a desire to pull a LazyTown on her friends, is an absolute jack of all trades, capable of just about anything in life! It makes me wonder just how a petpet like her could achieve that much skill. Did her wealth have something to do with her educational experiences or something?

Oh, I'm sorry! Is my 666th deviation supposed to be scary? Let me ramp up the eerie atmosphere a little! A while back, I made myself a spreadsheet documenting the stats of all the character cards available in Cardcasters (according to a Jellyneo page that was shut down for some unknown reason). Noralina, to my surprise, has the highest stat TOTAL of all the cards. Even Grimelda couldn't keep up despite having the bragging right of having a 10 in one of her categories! Mind you, PPP has had its fair share of powerful characters in the past, so a petpet like Noralina isn't supposed to be on par with the actual "gods" of the cast.

Is this not scary enough? Here's something else. Look at Noralina's stats (shown in the drawing). Pay attention to the numbers carefully. Notice anything... peculiar?

Turn the 9's upside down and the number 8 on its side. To the (former) developers of Petpet Park: Was there something you were trying to tell the fandom back in the day???

To think, this entire mystery revolves around a rich petpet who prefers the life of a pirate and nothing else. Well, overthinking aside, hope you enjoyed the drawing and my analysis!
