            but feel,
Staring
         from water rocks,
More than sunken contempt?

How can we,
            but raise,
When perched upon a height,
            Our spirits,
In this encompassing light?

How can we,
           only ever say,
That each time,
            when we’re moved,
It lasts little more,
            than the transient day?

And never shall I stay,
And only shall I move,
Like each moving day,
I’m forever on my way
