the exoplanet gliese 876b! a gas giant in the habitable zone of its star! oohh and look, two large moons and one seems to be thriving!

constellation: Aquarius
star name: Gliese 876
star type: red dwarf
system name: Gliese 876
distance from earth: 15 ly

planet name: Gliese 876b
class: Gas Giant
sub class: probably saturnian
size: roughly saturn sized
atm. comp.: Hydrogen, Helium, Water, other elements and compounds
atm. type: dense
temp: cooler than average
satellites: 2 hypothical/ most likely 5 and over
orbit type: low eccenticity with 1:2:4 laplace resonance between inner planet gliese 876c and outer planet gliese 876e
orbital distance: 0.208 au
year: 61 earth days
place in system: outer part of habitable zone

- because the planet is a gas giant, it will most likely have at least 1 large moon with numerous smaller ones.

- two large hypothecial moons are shown here with one of them thriving with life! this is because the planet lies within the pstars habitable zone.

- the planet is said to be cloudless like uranus, with water clouds at the poles, but i've added some clouds as well as a ring system!

i've also tried something new by adding a colour layer our the image to help everything blend in, and i must say, it really helps! in this case, because the star is a red dwarf, i've added a reddish colour to the image.

well, enjoy the image! and as always, coments are most welcome and appreciated!

Gliese 876c is apparently also in the red dwarf's habitable zone .

Yeah, but given its eccentricity & the fact it has been migrating outwards, moons are likely to be dry
