You know, in the long ep special Yoshi had made, Jackal gets killed by theΒ Homicidal DarklingΒ as he stabs back a dark dagger at her. Despite the fact that Jackal would rather use the dagger made out of light magic which would by effective toward the Homicidal Darkling, but he didn't.

( It was late st night and Shining was on his midnight patrol.) The craziest stuff usually at night. Otherwise I would be asleep right now.

he notices the weather was getting stronger and colder the higher up the mountain he went up

The snow winds started to freeze bright and blow him around

( Surrounds himself with a forcefield and uses his light powers to keep himself warm ) OK this is not normal. (Moves on)

A huge bolt of magical lightning spawns out of the air striking Bright with his shield down to the ground

( gets up) definitely not normal.
( draws sword and shield ) and Flies up the mountain.

( Shining continues to fly up the mountain deflecting and shielding himself from magic)
Clearly there is something here. Something powerful and possibly hostile.

he then flies into a magical barrier that ripples when he bumps into it

Shining : of course it's shielded. When all else fails put up a shield.

Bright sees something swirl in the shield

a sudden massive amount of dark magic breaks through bright's shield and runs into bright shooting him across the sky and then slamming down on him from above and exploding on him when he hits the ground

The ground then turned over and slammed down over him before being pushed out by a stone pillar striking the back of his spine.

( balances himself in the air ) that's it
( flies fast twords the shield concentrating his light magic making him look like a spear.)
Light give me strength.
(Crashes and breaks through the shield )

But before Shining's spear of light could shatter through the magical barrier, it was instantly grabbed by a giant hand made of ice. A hooded man with large wolf hear and tail stands a feet inches away between him, and the shield Jackal had created inside his dome enhanced with dark magic. His eyes were locked at white armored warrior with his blue visor, giving him a serious look.
"Shining Light, was it?" The hooded wolf man questioned before he continues his conversation. "I know you want to come here, but I'm afraid I can't let you do that." He declined, knowing that if he gets through Jackal's lair, he will get sadistically killed by him.

Shining : the evidence of something evil up here demands my attention. I must investigate and destroy it.

The hooded man lowered his head in disappointment, the claw hand still caught hold of Shining's spear of light he created with of thin air. It buries itself underneath the snow with spear of light still on contact. He looked back at the so-called defender of light before talking to him.
"And what if you'll be taking on something evil and only to find out that you'll be pulled right into a trap?" He replied.

Shining : wouldn't be the first time.

"You know, if is really worth it while risking yourself getting tortured?" He questioned again.

Shining : I stand for those who can't stand for themselves. I take risks like this everyday. You can assist me or you can stand aside.

The dog man frowns again at Shining Bright knowing that there is nothing to do to stop him. "So there is nothing I can do to stop you." The dog man said, as he stands still, refusing to let Shining past.

Shining : not likely. I must protect the people.

"You'll be facing foes that plan to do evil acts, as you try to stop them only to have yourself falling into a trap they planned out." The hooded dog man said. "Not to mention the most of the evil you faced nearly killed you off." He added.

Bright : I'm aware of the risks.

"And yet you'll just be taken down and get your life taken away from these kinds of people." The hooded canine man pointed out. "But I'll give two choices, either you leave now. Or just get inside that dark castle and be killed again." The dog man offered.

Shining : I can't take him by myself. If you know this is so dangerous than why don't you help me?

"Because, I encountered Jackal myself." The hooded dog man answered.
A flashback shows the hooded dog man revealing to be Shawn running straight to the woods. "I heard sounds of Pink and his son needing help. So I left by myself, leaving the team behind." The hooded dog man explained.
Shawn had been running, going keep into the woods until he stops for a seconds seeing himself in the woods covered in snow. "I somehow got myself into a snow filled area, which is strange, since it's yet to be winter. He explained continued.
Shawn looks around rapidly into the area being struck with confusion. "But my thoughts were right as Jack floated before me, as he set up fake voices of Pink and her son with his magic." He revealed.
"Jackal was charging his elemental magic, but that also gave me the edge I needed to strike him in his opening. However he unleashed an explosive wave, not only blowing me away, but reducing the area into a area that almost like a forest fire." He said more as the flashback showed Jackal unleashing a fiery explosion inducing flames to the whole area.
"I was at a total disadvantages. The air was dry and hot, my jacket has burns and I try not to breathe the dry hair."
Shawn and Jackal fought, but no matter how hard Shawn tries, Shawn can't even put a single scratch on him. Jackal began to beat him up, using all of his magic spells.
Toying with him.
Threatening him.
Torturing him.
"I was almost at my limit and beaten down like a rag doll." The dog man said. "Never stood a chance against him, and the worst part is..." The dog man paused before speaking.
"He wasn't even trying." He finished explained.
The flashback ends of the hooded dog man still standing in the way between the white knight and the barrier.
"So even with our combined strength, we barely could put a scratch on Jackal." The dog man said clearly with a stern tone.

Shining : we'll just have to warn people to stay away from this area. Is he really that bad?

The dog man thinks about it for a minute and agrees. "Very well." The dog man applies.

Shining : better than nothing. Who are you anyway?

The hooded dog man reveals himself by taking off his hood, revealing himself to white knight. "My name is Shawn." The dog man introduced.

Shining : I am Shining Light. (Takes off his helmet and visor ) my friends call me Bright.

Bright then feels strange after breaking through. something has infected him after breaking through the shield and makes him lose the ability to fly and crashes down into the snow at the foot of stairs that lead up to a colossal castle. he also felt slower and cut off from the light. The castle seemed to have an effect on him.
