Soo I felt like drawing something cute, and this is the end result. 😊

My OC Vienna at about 2 months old with her mother. Here, her color is striped silver, but it's obvious she's going to end up melanistic (solid black) due to the darker pigment in her landing gear and on the tips of her rotors.

Helicopters in the wild are always born with stripes/spots to help with camouflage, and usually keep these markings throughout their lives (like Vienna's mother). However, genetic changes in coloration (such as melanism and albinism) can cause some individuals to lose these markings as they grow up.
