I guess this is what happens when Force Awakens hype cross-breeds with Lion Guard hype.

Based on an idea that I've actually had for a long time now, I wanted to finally draw something Star Wars-related on here, since the next film is only 2 months away, and that the original (unaltered) Star Wars trilogy is three of only a few movies that I actually love more than The Lion King. (The others being The Matrix trilogy.) This was the result. To me, at least, it might actually make more sense than it seems at first glance. In Star Wars, there was a roguish scoundrel (Han) who fell in love with a wealthy princess (Leia), and as a result, soon went onto her side and helped to save the lives of those she cared about. Sound familiar to anything TLK-related we might know? Not to mention, that same princess having a brother who has a strong ability that can be used for both good and evil, depending on how he uses it. Kion's roar much?

Originally, I wanted to give the impression that the characters here were just in Halloween costumes, since that time of the year is quickly approaching. (Plus, it would be REALLY cute to imagine little Kovu dressing up as Han Solo. ) But then I realized: It'd be more fun to let you guys decide if that's the case or not. Then again, the binary sunset behind them kind of does give it away, I suppose. If they're in costumes, then I'm willing to bet Nuka must feel pretty uncomfortable wearing Chewbacca hair all over him. If not... Then boy, did he really let his fur go this time. In any case, let's just hope that Kion takes some notes from Luke and remembers not to kiss his sister without knowing it. Lastly: I feel silly knowing my DA name has 'Darthmaul' in it, and I'm only now going into Star Wars territory with my art here.
