Being able to consume a wide range of food including grass, roots, tubers, leaves, fruit, and even insects.
- These animals are characterized by their dark grey shaggy fur, muscular body and legs, and non-retractable black claws. These claws are suitable for digging and for fighting. When threatened; the bear fox would rear up on their hind legs and roar or crouch down and wave their massive bushy tails in order to look bigger. They're very territorial and typically use their large claws to create markings on trees. These markings are a warning sign to potential intruders.
