Ayyy it has been a year since I made a reference sheet for Nashoba! Here's the one from February of 2019: www.deviantart.com/nashobapaws…. It's interesting to see how I've improved considering I was happy with how my style was then. I'm even more happy with it now. I love it more than ever! As you may have noticed, Nashoba also got another redesign. When I did this redesign ( www.deviantart.com/nashobapaws…) it was really my first ever redesign of him. I feel like I went way ahead of myself and gave him all of these markings and colors without thinking it through. Recently I watched a course of a person's process of character design. Due to that course, I took my time to experiment with different colors and markings for Nashoba. After doing about four combinations, I settled with this design. I am quite happy with it and it took a lot of progress to get! Anyway, if you want to draw Nashoba, here are some general guidelines and suggestions:1) Please color pick from this reference sheet! It irks me when the wrong colors are used, even if its a slight difference. It'll be easier for the both of us if you color pick!
3) If you draw him I would love to see him with any of his other hairstyles! Be fun and do something different!
4) If you draw him in anthro form, I insist you be creative with his clothing. Create new clothes for him that you think fits him well, change the color of the clothes, whatever you want! Nashoba himself is creative and unique so don't hesitate to give him personality. I love seeing what people create.
5) Please pay attention to his markings and make sure you draw them correctly. Those markings on his ankles in particular are kind of hard to see so please make sure you don't miss them! I really hate asking people to draw on a marking after they finished a drawing because they forgot it! I don't like giving people added work just after they finished a piece, so please make sure to pay attention the first time!
6) Have fun! Nashoba means a lot to me and he is a very playful dog so I want you to have fun while drawing him! Make him have cool expressions, a cool pose, anything! I challenge you to be loose and easygoing while drawing him
