"Pretty" isn't normally something that crosses my mind when I'm working on a picture. But with this piece, I wanted to push myself with a different colouring style than I have been doing, trying to achieve something that could be considered pretty. Don't think I quite reached that (I blame my failure on the "mirror", lol...), but it was still a lot of fun to draw.On top of that, it's pretty rare for me to post up my characters on their own these days, but I thought these two (San on the left, Niveus on the right) would work best for a picture like this.
Ara, now to get working on the requests I need to do...

I had to double take this to make sure they were two different people XD I didn't even notice that they were until I read the description, which I think is super interesting all in itself. I LOVE how you painted the hands, and the whole painterly feel in general is super awesome. Makes me want to finish the stuff I've been doing this summer x3
I love the colours, and how the skin contrasts so well with the blue. The eyes are my favourite part in this, as well as how you colour crystals. The noses and lips are gorgeous too <33
