This is the start of a project I'm going to try this year alongside of You can read more about the project here but basically we're going to work on areas of art that we're not used to or would like to work on. To start out we're replicating some stock photos and this month we're making digital paintings. Totally out of my comfort zone but that's the point.

Here's the photo I used and link to the site it came from--> www.pexels.com/photo/beverage-… This one stood out to me because of the bright colors and the cute little heart. Although I will admit those polka dots gave me a huge headache and strained my eyes from staring at them so long But it was so fun to make. I enjoyed it a ton. I also purchased a course on Udemy a couple days ago and tried to implement some of what I learned from it to, so that's exciting to get to practice.

But yeah. This is a fun little project and I'm super excited to do it with her. We're going to hold each other accountable so as not to fall behind, and we have little consequences if we do. For me, if I don't do one or miss one, I have to go vegan for a week. Which will probably be the death of me as I don't eat much vegetables But another motivation to start eating right as I should anyway
