Soooo the other night I was thinking about some ideas for the GMD pirate story... and these sketches were born. I'm considering turning it into like a mini-comic/side-story. Not sure about the details, but it'll basically just tell about Captain Ratigan's first encounter with mermaids
The top sketch will probably be the first panel. While engaging an enemy ship, Ratti's shouting orders coupled with insults like "ya bloomin' cockroaches!" or "ya cack-handed deck apes!" (I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from Barbossa for pirate Ratigan
) Next is first mate Ray Lehmann, also urging the crew on during the fight. Then there's Fidget trying to haul a canon ball to one of the canons, a difficult task since he's such a small creature and the ball is so heavy And beside him is an OC of mine named Lefty, who will be a main source of comic relief in my story Hope you like these little previews! Oh my gosh, PLEASE have him say "Keep moving!You can sleep when you're dead!" at some point. Barbossa is SO AWESOME. O_O And does this mean Ratigan isn't as nasty as we think since Capt. Barbossa isn't a villain anymore? *sparkly eyes*
