There's a scene in the 2016 script of It Chapter One that had him keeping a bee pendant he'd taken off a small girl as a good luck charm/keepsake. He also kept a scrapbook of his kills. He breaks the pendant in frustration during his first encounter with the Losers. I wish they'd kept little details like that in, since it gave him a little more emotional depth.Related content

I remember reading that script somewhere on tumblr. They should've kept the pendent idea, but sadly they had to scrap it. Oh well.
