Description

Mai was not pleased about the outcomes of her challenge against Ryu Hayabusa as well as the battle she requested against Hayate . She would not stop until she finally defeats them, unfortunately for her they are not willing to conduct any form of rematches with her, deeming her unworthy of another opportunity. This left Mai even further displeased; However, Mai is not oblivious to the idea that they cannot decline forever.

Mai somehow learned of their allies, figuring that they cannot decline a rematch knowing that she has defeated their allies. And thus Mai has added people to her list of targets, starting with Ayane.

Ayane who was "set on a mission" by her master Hayate regarding the island that she's currently in, preferred to take a vacation along the way. The fun times would not last due to the interference from Mai. Mai's attack was quick, even so Ayane's reactions were quicker. "You're one of Hayate's allies aren't you?" Introduce me to him will you???" Mai Shiranui immediately announced her motives before attacking once again, seeking audience with Hayate through Ayane in her own way.

When it seemed that Mai was nearing the state of haplessness, Mai had enough time to retrieve a trick from under her sleeve and turn the tide of battle to her favor. Once she found the precise timing, she wasted no time in unleashing one of her most dangerous moves. Sending Ayane to the air, striking her with quickness beyond the limits of the naked eye, before catching her in mid-air only to plant her head-first to the sand, leaving Ayane incapacitated under the warmth of the sun.

It appears that Mai's progress to improve was beginning to show signs of paying off; however, her business was not finished with Ayane. Mai preferred to provide a stamp to her victory "pinning" her opponent who appears to be already defeated. It is unknown where she learned to do such a move, nonetheless she deems it necessary to do so. Pinning Ayane while she counted from 1 to 10 very slowly, implying that her Ayane was defeated already and that should the count grow into a larger number, Ayane would still be unable to beat the count; And it looks as if she is correct.
