Alex & Melissa could've went somewhere to have a romantic dinner, but they chose to have it at home instead. So, Alex cooked himself a thick, juicy steak, and another for his girlfriend as well. But his steak is bigger than Melissa's because she doesn't like having bones in her meat, and she doesn't want a bigger piece either.
