Nice line art. Looks like it took some work.
I think it did make it to the final cut. At first glance, it may look like they are kissing, but only because of Tenchi's open mouth showing shock and side profile. Ryoko's mouth is wrong for that though and is more nuzzling him. It pretty much shows what happened in the anime, with Sasami's reaction a few seconds later and Ayeka's reaction coming after Ryo-ohki breaks the floor.
