Description Everyone in Mewni have decided to let Globgore stay free after witnessing that Rhombulos was behind the framing. Well... Eclipsa is now officially Queen of Mewni and now that Globgore is back. I guess Mewni has a new King now.

I honestly think that Eclipsa really is not Mewni's legitimate queen.

It was proven that Eclipsa left the throne to live happily with her family and thought that without a queen the war that her mother left would be over until the high magical commission adopted the daughter of a peasant, Festiia, the true ancestor of Star, to take the place of Eclipsa as next queen, starting a new legacy of the Butterfly family.

Therefore, Star's family did not take Eclipsa's throne away from her family, so things should not have changed if it was her decision to stop being queen, so River and Moon would be the legitimate kings of Mewni, Star would be the future queen and she should not have given the royal wand to Eclipsa if she left it as a gift to her ancestor Festivia for a better life.

Okay, not gonna lie, I was a little worried this was potentially suggesting something.

Watched a couple reviews where it was hinted there would be deaths at the end of this series, and for a moment, I thought this might be a foreshadowing of Star becoming part of Eclipsa's family. Clearly Eclipsa already views Star that way, even if they aren't blood related, but just that fact it's a group hug with Star, Eclipsa, Meteora and Globgor, I was half worriedβ€”also with Father's time's ominous warning at the end of "Beach Dayβ€”that Star might loose her parents, possibly being adopted by Eclipsa and Globgor. Glad that didn't happen!

Still love the dynamic between them. They're all just so sweet, and I totally see Star viewing Eclipsa as an aunt since she's not really her eight or nine times great grandma, and acting like an aunt/big sister to Meteora.
