Description
Owl: Strix variaOne of the feather paintings I made for the owl's November exhibition (Russia, Novgorod)
Painted on the feather of a Greater Spotted Eagle.
Feather size 21x5 cm
Big thanks to the Help Center for the birds of prey and owls in Novgorod. They gave me this beautiful feather^^
I was waiting so long for this bird will moult <3
Beads are made and painted by me specially for this feather drawing^^

I feel that I'm commenting on this a bit late, but anywho:
I had discovered your feather painting through the Daily Deviations and I must say, what a unique display of artistry! I applaud your choice of strange and wonderful art medium. I would have never thought to use a feather as a canvas, yet you execute it so flawlessly.
And I have a soft spot for owls. Absolutely love the detail on your owls. Owls owls owls..
