World of nature and industrial world..I took a photo for size comparison [link]
because I know that it's really hard to imagine how small this painting is. But it's really small! It was hard to draw it ^^

(Haha, I know I know, I'm asking you to divulge your artist's secrets, but I'm truly very curious--they look too smooth to be rocks... you don't have to say if you don't want to, though.)
And this photo is much, better. Close up like this it gives people the opportunity to see all of that lovely detail.
I would say both are nice to have, though--people can see what it looks like from afar as well, this way. For example, I would not have otherwise known that those beads don't go all the way up.

Polished gem pendant? I always have a hard time with the idea of how I would paint shiny smooth rocks, because my paint would look dull in comparison. XD XP
So do you paint on the smooth rock and them go over it with some kind of polish/clear coat?
