Really, though, if you look past her flaws, she's actually pretty darn useful despite popular belief. I mean, for crying out loud, this water goddess is listed on her card as an ARCHPRIEST(ESS). A motherfreaking HEALING CLASS. And if a lifetime of video games has taught me anything, the healer is pretty much one of, if not THE most useful part of ANY team in an RPG, like, EVER! She has healed the gang, buffed their stats, and even revived Kazuma one time after he got DECAPITATED, or in layman's terms, HAD HIS HEAD TAKEN APART FROM THE REST OF HIS BODY. You would think by now that our geeky hero here would be the least bit thankful, but nope. He takes it for granted, saying that's all she's good for. And okay, so she acts a bit like a brat from time to time, and is a bit full of herself, but I think that's just because she's insecure; she doesn't know what it's like to be truly appreciated. And on top of that, despite the constant bickering and, for lack of a better word, tension, in the time that these two have come to know each other, they have grown insanely close! I'm imagining a situation where Kazuma realizes all this, hence learning to be more compassionate towards Aqua and appreciate her more, which teaches her how being appreciated really feels, and that in turn would help develop their relationship. Seriously, even the creator has stated that they ship it!

Yeah you are right. All kazuma's party are useful. Aqua also.. but too bad kazuma is already in relationship with megumin.. And only sees aqua as his best comrades..

I'm calling it now. If, hypothetically, we get a third season, Kazuma's gonna break up with Megu (although they'll still be on good terms and she'll still be on the team), start noticing Aqua...and maybe we finally get to actually see the Demon King.
