Description    Sun shines from the skies, warming up the air, metal, water and even ground itself. It's hot, so hot you could cook an egg on your forehead. Two young tramps are seen, silently walking at fine pace, not looking at the same sight at all. The girl, looking slightly weary from their travel, wipes off some sweat forming on her forehead, eyes never leaving the road. In those frosty gray eyes you can see determination; she's going to walk this long, long road to that place and live to tell the tale to anyone passing by. Deep inside her soul lies that need to turn, go back home and forget everything, but she won't let that need take control: she chose her way, there's no changing it.
That slight frown on her young face deepens a little, as her speed increases.
Slightly behind her, he follows. Unlike her, his electric blue eyes wander; there's this sweet scent of flowers, he wants to know what it is. Curiosity might have killed the cat, but to him, it matters not. He doesn't even like cats. He likes dogs. Dogs and wolves who live their lives in a pack, who live in the Present. They don't whine for the Past, because the Past is already gone, nor they fear the Future, for the Future is not here yet, and when the Past and the Future are nonexistant, it's all about the Present, the Right Now here.
But now he has let his thoughts wander.
Oh heck, who cares. That happens all the time.
And in his wonderful state of happiness he searches for that flower, that bloomage with this sweet scent.

   He looks at them.
His name is Georg Black, but people call him Beard - or BlackBeard - because of a huge lump of facial hair around his mouth. With his monstrous beard and strong built he's probably scary, scarier than those monsters under your bed.
He's about two meters tall and very muscular.
All kids in this godforsaken village fear him for his massiveness and low, deep voice - and that beard.
That is why Beard is a little shocked, mildly interested, slightly happy and very, very confused, when these two children come asking if he could take care of them for about a week.
Their travel hasn't reached it's end, they tell, not even close, but their small bodies are now more than overly exhausted.
The brown-haired, blue-eyed boy tells Auli to be his name.
Lady Frosty-blonde calls herself Linnea.
He knows they're lying - he's huge, but he's not dumb - but he asks nothing. They must have their reasons.
He says their names are exotic, they tell them to be finnish. They say they're twins. He wants to try his limits and tells them to speak finnish to prove their words.
To tell you the truth, he's half finnish. He can speak finnish very well.
To his total surprise, they can speak finnish very well.
So he took them in.
Dinner, bath, chatting, sleep.
He looks at two lumps of flesh under the blankets and smiles.
He's not that lonely anymore.
