Description
i

in the middle of a bustling
bar, i saw her
the way she looked at me
took my breath away
i walked up to her and
said "padron me, theif
you stole my breath"

ii

she looked at me
quite concerned and
asked how she could
give it back
i said simply this
"kiss me and give it back"
she plants a feathery
kiss and blew in my face
and said "there sir,
you are revived"
she walked away

iii

wait, you must tell
me your name a lady as
fine as you, must have
a lovely name
she whispered elizabeth
i puffed up my chest
please you must walk with me
she grabbed my hand
and pulled me into the street
we walked alone together
for about an hour
we talked and joked

iv
three months later
we were married in
a church of blue
she appeared in a
lacy white gown
we whispered i do's
said i love you
and disappeared
into the night.

...and that is how i met your mother

I love how formal and elegant this poem sounds and then just ends with a simple "and that is how I met your mother". X3Β

Lovely! Β And, as a bonus, quite a bit of this sounds as though it would make an excellent complement to this group piece by psycocat:Β link . Β
