Description
Watercolor lift out assignmentTake a picture of ourselves and distort our features
Gesso bristol board. Dry. Squish a bunch of paint (in my case green). Dry.
Put image on top of paint, then lift out the paint with brush and water.
The more you lift the more white from the gesso you'll see.
We learned to lift highlight and stuffs
Worked backwards if you will.

bahahabaraha! is that your shadow? cause it has antennae. my shadows used to have antennae... but then one day they disappeared... it was a sad tuesday morning... but i love your art!

yes indeed it is quite amusing and minutious but why dont you resize your drawings and paintings before you post them? it is easyer for the eye if it perceives the hole work in one single glance, not having to scrawl up and down the page - well just a sugestion

waw, this is really interesting. The way you've distorded the face to create some kind of suspicious look is awesome. I think the color you chosed and the alien shadow in the back contribute to create an unstable and strange environment.
