I don't Twilight or Bella, but I half like Yuki and I sometimes despise her in some parts. Some times she reminded me of myself. The only characters I hate from both sides are Kaname and Edward because they do everything to get their girl. Zero is okay, even though I doesn't like him at first he felt much better.I think these vampire romance stories were repeatitive but I like Vampire Knight more.

I personally like the plot of Vampire Knight better, as well as most characters except Yuki. As for Twilight, someone had to threaten to burn all my Harry Potter books to make me watch the movies... the only character Like in Twilight is Jasper, and he's not even in there enough to were I want to watch the movies or read the books.

Depends on which Yuki your going with..Human Yuki or Vampire Yuki either way I'm pretty sure Yuki will win (just barely though)

Vampire Knight. Still a better love story than Twilight. At least Yuki isn't 1 dimentional like Bella. Tho I'll take points away from her as well for marrying her brother.

Damn, I just started reading Vampire Knight. It's ok-ish and thought that it would be quite a good read but Yuki just annoyed me to the point I didn't even want to read anymore (Chairman Cross and Kaname kept me a little on board. ). She's just pathetic and the whole 'I can't decide who to love' thing going on pisses me off.
... but... While Yuki and Bella are equally annoying in my book, Vampire Knight's story is still better than Twilight.

I hate all twilight characters and Yuki annoys me half to death, because she is very pathetic. However all other characters are awesome in VK... Well also minus Zero coz of his emoness and not telling Yuki how he feels etc...

I've just started watching Vampire Knight (already read Twilight) and have noticed that, yeah, Yuki is UNBELIEVABLY irritating! First episode, she "jumps into action" and when the curly blonde vampire grabs her wrist she turns into a defenseless little girl! Seriously, there's a difference between being petrified with fear and too stupid to pull a judo, twist your arm out of his grasp and knee the bastard in the balls. A pattern of helplessness we find in both series. Supposedly. Vampire Knight isn't as bad, but it certainly has that damsel-in-distress thing going on. I wish Buffy would just stake them both and save us all the aneurysms.
