I really like this drawing.
I have found only two things I suggest you work on though. Blending with the heavier shaded areas and keeping the body in proportion.
With the proportion, I think you did great with the rider. But the horse has a rather small head compared to its larger body. Unless you were drawing a specific breed of horse like a Hanoverian, most jumper horses have skinny fox like heads, most warmbloods have heavier heads. Anyways, I suggest that you try using blending stumps for the harder to reach areas like on the face or up in the flanks of the horse. You did a great job on the legs and hindquarters, but the belly and face need a little bit of work.
Now that I'm done picking at the thinks I didn't quite like I will tell you what I love about this drawing (:.
Besides having a love for showjumping, I think you did great with the rider and the appearance of the rider coming off.
I also like the texture you put into the horse, rider, grass and pool under the jump. I also like the effect you put into the water, especially where the splash is seen.
you did a fantastic job with angle also.
Oh yes, and the expression of the horse. By looking at its ears and eyes, you can tell it didn't want to jump.
Great job on the drawing, keep up the good work.
