Another switzerland shot. This is taken whilst walking from the Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg, and is a view looking at the jungfrau. (If you check closely, you can see a structure on top of the ridge between the two peaks, that's known as the Sphinx at the jungfraujoch. The highest station in Europe. The odd structure on the hill below is an avalanche gallery for a train from Grindelwald to kleine scheidegg.Tightening up of image and some tiny recolourations done in photoshop, oh and border, but that's obvious.

Aaahhh Switzerland. It's beautiful, isn't it? Just recently been there myself, and it was the best place ever. The mountains are wonderful.
I love the way the green of the grass is contrasting with the white of the snow. Tis sehr cool.

This is beautiful! I got to go near the Alps a few years ago, and it was amazing. The sky is nice because it just gently goes from a lighter blue to a more medium hue. And seeing how small the people look--priceless.

Quite beautiful with the green hillside and the icy hills as the backgrop then the rich blue of the sky. Lovely. It looks so peaceful, especially with the green, white and blue combined. And the slight soft feel, well I'm guessing you added it in with Photoshop adds to the overall peacefulness.

Great shot! I seem to remember somewhere along the way stumbling onto a panorama of the view from over by that station. The view was awesome. You'fre so lucky to be able to see all that first-hand.

man alyn, you should post more photographs, definately. that's an amazing shot, you really picked the best spots there in the mountains to take photos. amazing combination of colours and a good depth. seems as if you had a great far-sight there.
I think I discovered that sphynx-structure you mentioned... it's on the left-most side of the mountains, right? looks like a face with a down-angled, stern mouth
again, excellent landscape shot...I am trying them myself many times, and you make a 10-day travel and return with such great shots...arg

Absolutely wonderful contrast of different elements. However I think the people walking along the middle ruin the picture , though thats personal preference I think. Very good, still.
