Illustration from Naught's Requiem, a short KH2 fic of mine.In all honesty? This picture was an excuse to draw the boys in school uniforms. Since we only see the girls' uniforms in KH2, I wanted to try designing the boys' uniforms. Then, of course, I needed a setting to show them off in, so I took this scene from my fic and I was ready to go! ... And then I had to put most of the design in shadow. Go figure.
I worked off of *Risachantag 's great sea tutorial [link] for the ocean. Didn't quite get the same results, but I think it looks okay. It was a learning experience.
I've also got the flat colors for the kids up here [link] so you can see Riku and Sora's uniforms a little better. XD

Aw, thats very sweet. I like how simple their uniforms are too, it suits where they live, I think. Plus I think I prefer the background being very faded since it puts more emphasis on the three, I like that

I wrote it before I'd got a clear feeling of the characters' voices, though, and half of it was wish fulfillment, so it's really kind of awkward and I want to rewrite it. XD But I guess it's not too bad. :3

You did a great job on Riku, his build is exactly as it is meant to be...well, you did an excellent job on all of the characters! The background looks great, although it might have looked better if their feet were sinking into the sand a little to add realism. Riku is really hard to draw...well, for me he is
