Description GravaΒ΄s are animals in the D&D campaign IΒ΄m running.Β Gravas can be found almost everywhere in Amadir, but actually originate from the Nirdas, the home of the Khadar, and like everything that comes from the Nirdas, the Gravas are true giants. Adult grava bulls can reach a shoulder height of up to twenty paces (meters), and their weight cannot be measured with any mundane scale. These giant herbivores are tame and live in small herds. As they have no natural enemies outside the Nirda, they are neither shy nor aggressive.

Gravas are used by the Khadar as farm animals and mounts. Grava milk is particularly rich in fat and is highly prized by the Khadar. The animals have thick, leathery skin, which is protected by islands of fur and large scales. They also have thorn-like horn growths on their backs and the nape of their heads. Bulls often have an additional horn on their snout, which is used for defense or attack.

In Amadir, gravas are also tamed by humans and used as farm animals. Caravanserais and slave traders like to use them to pull their huge wagon trains, but they are also used in the construction of impressive buildings by transporting, pulling or pushing heavy loads.

In Fahdjinda, a grava cow is even used to put unfortunate people condemned to death to a particularly cruel end. It has been trained to slowly crush the prisoners chained to the ground under its feet. The sight of the remains of such a poor fellow must be gruesome.
