Description
Kvanath is a legendary NPC in the D&D campaign I´m hosting. Kvanath-The golden Lion lived threethousand years ago. He was a warlord and a mercenary king with a legendary reputation. One time he had business to do in the distant north, in Tembria. Kvanath came to a small village in the snowy mountains and he was about to witness how a young woman, was about to be sacrificed to a bloodthirsty god, the villagers simply reffered as "The old Man". He felt for this beautiful young maiden and he rescued her from a horrible fate. Kvanath took Hamaketh in his homelands, to Aranoch Than, in the desert of Bhasdh and they fell in love with each other. The old Man was furious and in rage that this mortal man had taken away the one who wa supposed to be his sacrifice so he started to infect Hameketh with nightmares that brought her to the edge of sanity. Kvanath went back to Tembria to challenge the old man and order gim to leave his beloved Hameketh alone, but the old man claimed Kvanath for himself instead and made him his slave... his avatar. Hameketh never heard of Kvanath again and she finally took her own life. Kvanath though became immortal and a dark and evil threat to whole Tembria, forcing the madness of the old man upon the people.
