Description Pirin is a NPC in the D&D campaign IΒ΄m running.Β The eight-year-old girl with the wheat-blonde hair and big green eyes is the sister of King Bahrin and Princess Serienne and therefore also a princess of Tembria. Her real name is Pirinarya, but she insists on being called Pirin. The lively child is also very brave and fearless and loves to play outside Bear Rock, the royal fortress in Irdhin.

Almost a year ago, the little one's sneaking around had fatal consequences for Irdhin and the rest of Tembria. At that time, a stranger was wandering around the city, pretending to be a homeless beggar. The little girl took pity on him, gave him a few coins and befriended Semiohul. He gave her an earthen vial as a thank you and told her to make her father some tea.

King Beryn soon felt very unwell and eventually died of a mysterious illness. But shortly after his heart stopped beating, his eyes opened, black and glowing like coal in a fire. He was no longer Beryn... only a vague memory of his former existence remained, and otherwise he was like a rabid wolf, ready to tear anyone to pieces and drink their blood... he avoided daylight and sought the shadows.

As it turned out in retrospect, Semiohul's blood, the blood of an immortal, was in the vial and Beryn had now become his puppet.
Beryn had himself walled up in one of the towers of Bear Rock because he could not die. Semiohul eventually kidnapped Pirin to take her to Teyr Anoch, the realm of dreams and the cradle of souls, for he had even greater plans for Irdhin and Tembria, and if he sacrificed her, he would awaken Mudhin, who slept in Teyr Anoch. If he had managed to bind one of the legendary giants to him, it would have been easy to crush the entire North in the blink of an eye... Literally. But Serienne and a few brave heroes freed Pirin from his clutches and brought her back to Irdhin.
