Ya, so I coloured My first time using copic markers. In a way, I'm really proud of how it turned out. i'm impressed that I actually managed to blend the skin tones. On the other hand, the hair did bleed one heck of a lot, and I'm not so sure about all that red. I'd meant the whole picture to be really really pale, but then the skin colours that I used turned out to be really dark. And everything changed from there.I wana try adding a background to this, any suggestions for colours, marks, whatever?

Well, first off, thank you so much for taking the time to write it up, and of course all those uplifting words! (I also have no idea what the red ribbons are. I just needed something to ill up the space. A friend suggested a noose but that just wasn't big enough XD
And AHA, I knew there was something funny around that sort of area. I'd been blaming the other side of the face being angled funny or something. Thanks so much for pointing that out! I'll be sure to watch out for that eye in the future.
And yes, that hat. I think we both want one like it XD

Well I would always give my people HUGE eyelashes if they were girls (nowadays I just make the body look more feminie)

Lol, I did that too. And then started making sure that they defenitely had boobs (I used to draw them pretty flat chested).

Copic markers are like fake friends - One minute they do everything you say, the next minute they turn on you and bleed all over the place. Compared to my works with copics, this is amazing! Certainly a little menacing
Personally, I don't think you should add too much of a background. The red and white combination adds to its overall 'different' feel. But that's just the wyverns opinion

It was crazy! Kind of had this dark feeling to it. I enjoyed it immensely as they didn't have any animals that got abused or anything. It was just people dressing as animals. They even had a dragon!

Nice work! I find the face very unsettling! Copics can be tricky ... I found the best way to work with them is to lay down solid strokes (even when blending)
