Description as the title says!
I actually finished it the day before your birthday, but then there was no electricity >.>

I stalked through your gallery to find something to draw you that wasn't human, and saw you like cheetahs (excellent choice!).
Not sure if you like cheetahs hunting or not.... but that what you got XD
sooo HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope that it was awesome.

I actually used reference pictures for this of the cheetah and bokkie, but I'm not quite sure where they are >.> somewhere on google
Grass brushes from

AWESOME! I love dynamic pictures, and this one more than qualifies. Go, gazelle, go! You can beat her!!! XD You chose the perfect colors for this one, too. I agree with El on the background, even if you did use brushes. I just think the sky is gorgeous. ^^

Thanks so much
Yeah, dynamic pieces are so much better. I have a terrible tendency to draw everything facing right, and completely side on
Dynamism is so much better

You're welcome! ^^

My horses always face left. XD The last one didn't, but that was more just luck than anything else.

Indeed!!! I just... have issues with it. So hard!

Amadoodles In reply to GreyCorbie [2010-09-17 18:05:36 +0000 UTC]

I know. Static, boring, facing one way is always so much easier! especially for lazy bums like me

When I first clicked on the picture to see it, I was like wow this is really nice! I wonder who of my watchers drew it. And when I saw it was you, my jaw literally dropped. Like omg, I've said this so many times to every single one of your recent pictures but wow. Its amazing. Like I don't get how you can improve and amaze me so much

The background, the pose of the animals hunting (even if its referenced). Its almost like a real picture that you would find on animal planet or something! So detailed and nice. Great job!

On a side note, did you really draw all that grass?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to Keberyna [2010-08-26 06:47:27 +0000 UTC]

It wazzz meeeeeeeeee!
Haha, I don't know, I think that I've just been on a bit of a learning curve recently Trying out new styles etc. I just wish that I had more time, then I could practice more.

Thanks so much
OH! And thanks for reminding me, I used grass brushes for the grass (There's no way I was going to draw it) and the trees....
I better go and put those credits in.

Yeah trust me, your not the only one who has got problems with time. Its everywhere these days. Maybe you should donate me some of your time
I'm in an art class now so hopefully that will help spring up some improvements

You are welcome!
Ah ok. I was wondering if you has such patience...>.>

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to Keberyna [2010-08-27 09:01:00 +0000 UTC]

Pffft, like I even have enough time for myself >.>
Oh really? That sound like fun! I'm curious, what do you do in art classes? So many schools seem to actually LEARN how to do art like draw/paint etc. At our school we sort of just have to figure it out for ourselves DX

Lol, there is no way that I have such patience!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Keberyna In reply to Amadoodles [2010-08-27 10:20:47 +0000 UTC]

Well its my first week there, we didn't really learn anything at all. Hopefully I will though. And that includes human anatomy...>.>

Haha indeed! I woudln't get how anyone could!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to Keberyna [2010-08-28 11:07:33 +0000 UTC]

Our art is so different!
We get a theme, like "Two decades of living, two cycles of change", or "In Dialogue", and have to make an artwork from there. It's meant to be very deep and meaningfull, and we have to look at all sorts of other artists works (because we obviously can't come up with our own good concepts ). But we never seem to 'learn' anything. If you do learn something, it's because you discovered it yourself

I'd love to do human anatomy DX

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Keberyna In reply to Amadoodles [2010-08-28 14:34:33 +0000 UTC]

Ohh, I kinda like that concept though. Learning yourself as class goes on. Thats pretty much how I did in my life, learn and discover by myself. Sounds pretty fun though!

And haha I bet you can come up with a lot good concepts

Maybe you can do that for like....one part of it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to Keberyna [2010-09-23 15:28:41 +0000 UTC]

it is fun, in a way. I think that I may have learnt more by myself, but art forced me to become conceptually stronger, and leave my comfort zones, and actually attempt painting etc

huh? One part of what?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Keberyna In reply to Amadoodles [2010-09-24 02:21:51 +0000 UTC]

Thats art! All about challenges and leaving the comfort zone. Hard indeed

I....honestly don't remember.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to Keberyna [2010-09-24 06:06:27 +0000 UTC]

I won't be lying if I said I was speechless. I'm dead serious. Pardon the crude language, but I freakin' love it! So much that I have goose bumps. Just, everything about it is so awesome. Especially the details. And the background. And not to forget the colouring. Thank you so, so, so, soooooo much!!

Would you mind if I use it as a desktop background?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Amadoodles In reply to RustyBlou [2010-08-26 06:43:24 +0000 UTC]

That's so great! yay, I'm so glad that it made you happy

And it's my present to you, so of course you can use it as your desktop background!

That's hardly crude language >.>

It made me very, very happy! And it still does!

And what a pwetty desktop background it is. Everyone will be jealous.

I was going to use crude language, but decided against it. >.>

xDDD

I'd seriously love to go to Africa.

My brother's going to be one of those people that helps out down there or whatever in the poorer parts, maybe I'll be able to come with him one day.

Flucking-RaveFIERCE In reply to Amadoodles [2010-08-28 15:41:04 +0000 UTC]

We should!

I think he's going to try and get into the Peace Corps. So, he'd be going to all sorts of places trying to make differences and stuff. He's a really good person for that though, my brother might as well be Gandhi's reincarnate XDD
