Finally finished
THANK YOU FOR 6000 HITS!! ^__^
I'm actually very happy with the coloring on this, even though I cheaped out and did no background whatsoever. XD (Sorry, I think putting a BG probably would have ruined it :/). Sorry about the hands, arms and feet. I still need loads of practice >< Especially hands. :3;;
Anyway, lineart was done on oekaki and I colored with Photoshop. ^^
Characters pictured are Chrno and Rosette from "Chrno Crusade". She's braiding his hair (or preparing to) <3 They showed her doing it in the manga when she was younger, but I thought she'd still be braiding it for him in later years (why else would he be wearing a yellow ribbon? XD).
Anyway, enjoy. This makes me squee :3

Does this scene really exist in the manga/anime? Because the only braiding scene I've seen was when Rosette was still in pigtails while Chrno still wears poncho (or whatever it was XD)

ooohhhh!!! i love chrno crusade! i don't have any of the manga, but it's one of my favorites. the art is just so good.. and yours is too. don't beat yourself up about the hand and feet--they're tough. may i make a suggestion for those? at first, don't use real hands or feet from real people for models: that's too much information for line art. instead (this is the way i learned how to draw them), look at hands and feet from other lineart. what i used was naoko takeuchi's sailor moon manga for that--those hands are easy and graceful looking.
but since you probably already know allllllllll about what i'm saying, please don't feeling like i'm condescending!!! =]
btw, CONGRATULATIONS for 6k hits!!!! all your art is awesome!
