September 26th - Day 3: Modern

I shamelessly love to draw these two in modern clothes, but this time I gave them some modern tools to go along with them: A laptop computer, an iPod, and an iPad.

Fakir is typing something--probably a research report or a story. And Ahiru is playing Angry Birds on his iPad. XD (They are also sharing a set of earbuds to listen to the classical music that Fakir is playing while he writes.)

I had a lot of fun with their clothes (especially Ahiru's). I think she would definitely wear things a little outside the box as far as outfits go and love flashy patterns and fun color combinations. Fakir, on the other hand, is a bit more neutral. (And yes, the company that made his laptop is "E.N.T.E" -- Which means "duck" in German. XD)

Every Fakiru Week, I end up doing one piece out of the 7 that I think is something I can really be proud of. And I think I hit it early this time with the third prompt. I'm extremely proud of this and I think it's one of my best fanarts in a long time.
