Princess Tutu fanart for... ~!!That's right, guys! IT HAS BEGUN!
September 24th --- Theme: Yellow
This was a pretty simple idea. I wanted the yellow to stand out solely by itself--in a ribbon that Fakir was helping Ahiru tie around the back of her dress. Nothing terribly complicated or creative, I'm afraid. XD;
I think it looked better before I put color into it. Ah well.
This was sketched on paper, scanned, and colored using Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
Fakir and Ahiru are not my characters. They belong to the wonderful Itoh Ikuko and HAL Films.

Oh my, I wonder what the occasion is. I love the idea behind the ribbon - concentrating yellow in one area I mean, and also how it connects them at this moment. Ahiru looks adorable in that dress. <3

Aww, thank you very much! I didn't have anything in particular in mind for the occasion, though Fakir struck me as the sort of person who wouldn't 'get ready' until he had to. (Why wear stuff like suits and constricting clothing when you can have torn up knight outfits and old ripped shirts?) I imagine that Ahiru was excited to get dressed up as soon as possible, though. And she'll probably have a clumsy fall over those skirts at some point.
