Deciding whether or not to come up with something different or just go ahead with this sketch and ink/color it.

Fakir and Ahiru waltzing, for the Princess Tutu Club's first contest (In which you draw your favorite pair from PT in some sort of dancing pose).

I made them significantly older here. And despite what many people would think, I'd say when Ahiru gets older, she'd look nothing like Tutu. Afterall, didn't she say herself, "That's not me." ? (End of Act 8, when comparing herself to Tutu) Anyway, I think when she got older, she'd still be awkward, short, and freckle-faced. XD I put her hair down from the braid in this picture, though.

As for Fakir, I'm willing to bet he just wouldn't stop getting taller. hahaha And hopefully his hair would get less poof and be a little sleeker, like I made it in this sketch. (That idea came thanks to Mangaka-chan's portrayal of an older Fakir in a character sketch she did for my fic, "Running Ink")

The colors, as I intend them, will be mostly a contrast of black and white (Fakir in black, Ahiru in white), with gold accents, most likely (and some feathery bits to Ahiru's dress). This particular choice was somewhat based on a thing that came with the 5th DVD, about the early stages of Princess Tutu, in which Fakir was referred to as the "Black Prince", thus which I kind of played with here in sort of giving a Princely outfit to him. And Ahiru/Tutu was the "White Princess". (Rue and Mytho were also, respectively, the Black Princess and White Prince).

Anyhow, enough babbling. Think I should stick with this and proceed to ink and coloring stages or try something else? Hmm.
