Princess Tutu fanart! Featuring Fakir and Ahiru~
Disney-style was multi-requested in the style requests I asked for. This was first requested by Amibon on tumblr, who asked for "Fakiru in a typical classic Disney style. ^_^ Maybe a “Little Mermaid” theme or something :3
Not really Little Mermaid-esque, but damn, Disney style gave me a heap of trouble. Especially trying to figure out what to do with their crazy anime hair in that style. Hope you enjoy, though!
I did have a lot of fun with this, despite the trouble it gave me.
This was sketched on paper, scanned, and colored in Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
Fakir and Ahiru are not my characters. They belong to the wonderful Itoh Ikuko and HAL Films.

It's so pretty, though disney style has taken away our Ahiru's beloved Hair curl... cowlick... thing xD Oh wait, it's still there, but curled XD

Yeah, it's still there. XD I looked through various Disney girls and noticed that none of them had that 'airborne' thing going, but they did have some pretty crazy curls! So I went with that. XD (Yeah, I'm a dork. I did a lot of research, since their hair transitions were the hardest to figure out.)

Well, I didn't make this icon. An old friend of mine named Sarlah did. I can make animated gifs, though. Basic ones. I use Adobe ImageReady 3.0.
