XDPrincess Tutu fanart. <3 Namely Mr. Surly-Glare-a-lot Fakir and Innocent little Ahiru. They make such a funny (and cute) pair.
This is actually a theme in a challenge I'm doing. And the theme is, of course, "Strawberry Jam". I have no idea why this came to mind.
I was going to keep this a simple sketch with just a little color, but then I got into water-coloring and...yeah. Didn't plan to take this much time with it. lolFakir doesn't show emotion that much, but I figured this would fluster him a bit (just like Duck-Ahiru getting water poured on her in the anime does). XD Poor guy. He even manages to look pissed-off when he's embarrassed. Now that's talent. Ahiru probably wouldn't do something so bold, either. But as the series goes on, Fakir's intimidation and constant glowers have less and less of an effect on her, and she gets pretty comfortable with him. So who knows. XD
This was fun, so I may color another sketch or two. It's less stressful than cel-shade style coloring.
Sketched on paper, scanned, and colored with Adobe Photoshop. Forgive the color bleeding and whatnot. I wanted that soft effect.
Fakir and Ahiru are not my characters.
