I went out this morning to the Tijuca Forest and got some pictures. This is the view from the Vista Chinesa ('Chinese View'). No idea why that's the name.
The sky was beautiful - not a single cloud to be seen -, just as I like it best. I quite liked this shot, so, here it is. More photos of today will be put up in the next few days.
The entire Tijuca Forest was reforested in an area where all the vegetation was lost. It now grows and prospers and looks like a natural forest with only the native species, when in reality it is not the original one found in the area by the first explorers.
