WARNING: HUUGE FILE!!!I wanted to draw this for quite a while now and I finally managed to do it!
It's a tribute to [S] JOHN. RISE UP. and one of my favorite flashes.
I considered using this either as saddest death or favorite flash for the Homestuck 30 Days Challenge but I think that I will choose something else for both themes...
By the way, I had previously included Rose, Dave and Jade at the bottom but I hated this part of the sketch so much that I left it out.
Thinking back it was the right decision because the coloring part almost killed me and with 3 more kids it would have been too much!! x__x It's the second time I'm drawing in this style... WHAT THE HELL DID I EVEN THINK TO DRAW SOMETHING THIS BIG IN THIS STYLE WHEN I'M NOT USED TO IT!!!!!
Seriously, the last two days I just wanted to go and shoot myself ...I liked the sketch more q__q Oh well. At leats I tried to color this properly xD
Some things didn't turn out the way I wanted them to but I'm tired of editing this picture and getting rid of mistakes so I just submit it the way it is now <__<
To tell the truth I just can't put my finger on where the mistakes are or how to improve it <.< Any feedback is welcome!!

Wow, just wow was my first impression of this picture, because it's amazing >w<
I don't even know where to start about it, maybe with, I really like your picture?
The idea itself is from the Homestuck comic itself, but the composition of all the situations happening at the same time is nice, espectically with the clouds in which John can see all these things happening ^^
Even though the situation is from the flash of the comic itself, you put it nicely together :3
Next off, the way you drew the characters is nice and espectically the lineless style fits the picture X3 I heared that drawin lineless is a lot more complicated then with lines, so respect for that ^^ I really like the shading and highlights aswell X3
The background is also fitting the whole picture, espectically with the little glowing bugs and the clouds ^^
All together a really well drawn picture Ama! I can really see the effort you put into this X3

Vision
I could really see where you were going with this, the composition though maybe could have given a better effect depending on where you wanted your focus...
IF you wanted the focus on the guy that's floating at the top (sorry I don't really know the characters so I can't really name anyone) then I would have added more space at the top, which might also give the clouds a more centered look.
Originality
As I read in the artists comment, this is a thing for Homestuck, so... XD

Technique
I really like how you didn't really do the black outlines, especially the clouds, they look wonderful without them.
Though the color behind the guy at the bottom might be a little too matching to him... maybe something even lighter? It would let him pop out a little more e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
Impact
I thought it was drawn really well, I really like the idea, though low impact for me because I don't know anything about the characters e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a⦠" width="19" height="19" alt="
Overall
I thought this was a really great drawing, and as someone else has said, don't be afraid of change! It can be a good thing, too! XD

Thank you for your submission to ZealZone. I took a peek at your gallery. Every artist has their own style, or "Signature', and you have a wonderful signature! I was reading through your comments, and I would have to disagree with you. Trying something new is never a bad idea. Even if the result is not what you had in mind, any kind of practice is a good thing. You may not get a perfect picture every time, but if you keep trying and practicing, everything will eventually fall into place. And by the way, changing your format size (really big or really small) is a great way to improve your art. Keep going...let's see more!
