Naaaiaaaa, my little cutie~! I have had so much fun drawing her a few times already, and then I really wanted to draw a colored picture of her because that was something that needed to happen again o: And this was a lot of fun ;u; Unfortunately digital coloring always takes me a while - especially with my lack of time - but I'm glad I finally got this done uvu I was honestly a bit afraid of shading her, but after a few tries I finally figured out how to do it and think that it came out fine. Coloring the pearls was my favorite part~ I struggled a bit with the background - I mean jeez, drawing water! My first try! - but I'd say it doesn't look too shabby either o:While I always think my pictures could be better, I'm generally quite happy with how this turned out <3 And I think it also cured my urge to constantly draw Naia, the blue glaucus/ glaucus atlanticus. I guess i can now concentrate on other characters of mine again xD Or I guess other characters and fanart in general o: o: And Christmas gifts! It's time to get started on those if I want to get it done on time >//<"

I absolutely love the starry sky, in the background and the rays of sunlight peaking over the top of Naia's head~<3 ;o; You make me jealous, really - you are the background expert. It is you. ;u; 
There's not really much I can say about Naia, herself, though - she's perfect~<3 u///u Absolutely gorgeous~
... Though, I must disagree with Tantan about having the shading more closely resemble the darkness of Naia's shading. oo: After all, with the sun coming up, over the horizon, the only parts that would really need any sort of DARK shading would be the thins that are turned directly away from the sun - since the water and the sand are on more of a flat plane than Naia is, they would obviously receive more of the sun's light and, thus, would be brighter than Naia should be - since her front side is facing away from the sun, where it can't reach as easily. o.o
... Not to mention that the lighter background gives much more focus to the darker-colored Naia, in the center - naturally drawing the eye towards the focus of the picture - Naia, herself~! >u< At leats, that's my analysis, at any rate~

Oh my, what background expert! I sure as heck didn't draw someone walking in the rain, because that is closer to being a background expert >: o *hinthint* But I still appreciate the nice words uvu Hmmmm, I think textures are an interesting idea! o: But I wonder that is rather something I should try with lineless digital art, or if it also fits lines o:
Aaand alright then! That was pretty much the reason why I let the background be lighter than it is, and if you think I made the appropriate decision here, then I'm glad I let it stay as is xD Pfff, true, Naia also pops out more due to that
Oh my, I barely doubt I surpassed anyone's coloring abilities with this! But I'm glad I managed to make something decent with this, something I can be proud of, and once again thank you for all your kind words >u<

Phew, late comment is late. X'D Granted, you should already know that I like this, but I still want to give my thoughts on the final version.
Naia turned out great. The coloring is fantastic, and she still just looks so adorable~ ;u; The background turned out pretty good too, though I think you still could've made the sand and water a little darker to match Naia's shading more closely. Nonetheless, I still say this is one of your best pieces yet, and it definitely shows how much work you put into it getting it where it is now. Keep up the good work!

Ein wirklich interessantes Bild.
Hierbei werden sehr dunkle aber denoch kraftvolle Farben verwendet,die wiederum gut aufeinander abgestimmt sind.
Die lilalen Farben des Körpers sind in verschiedenden Farbspektren unterteilt.Während oben am Kopf aufgrund des Schatteneffeckts eine dunklere und kraftvollere Note zu sehen ist,ergiebt sich die Farbe weiter unten nicht zuletzt auch wegen der Lichteinstrahlung eine sehr zarte und liebliche Lavendelnote.
Die knalligen blauen Stellen an Kopf,Schweif und den Händen ergänzen das Farbmuster während die anderen es ausschmücken.
Diese feinen Rosa- und Pinktöne sind bemerkenswert gut gestaltet.An den Perlen die sie um die Hüfte und an der Brust trägt lässt sich ein wunderbarer Lichteffeckt beobachten.
In Form von feinen weißen Stelllen wird die Lichtreflektion wunderbar verdeutlicht wobei dieser schöne und strahlende Look erzeugt wird.Die pinken Gewänder die sie trägt werden von feinen Lichtern umschmeichelt,die die kleinen Falten gut hervorheben.Auch an Stellen wie den flossenartigen Stellen am Handgelenk und dem Kopf sowie ihrem Bein wird durch ein feines weiß die Lichteinstrahlung der Sonne symbolisiert.Besonders hervorstechent sind auch die bildschönen strahlenden Augen die sich gut an den Rest des Bildes anpassen.
Die Farben fügen sich sehr gut zussamen und harmonieren auf exelennte Weise miteinander.Die Pose in Zussamenhang mit dem breiten Grinsen rundet das ganze noch ab.
Der Hintergrund ist wirklich aussagekräfftig.Eine Schönheit in einer Strandbrandung welcher im Hintergrund von der aufgehenden Sonne erstrahlt wird.Die Farbmischung die für den Himmel verwendet wurde ist sehr authentisch gewählt.Nach hinten hin zur Sonne wird der Himmel immer heller in blau getaucht,während weiter von der Sonne weg noch die Nacht einzug hält.Selbst an den Wolken sieht man die bekannte Rosatönung welche durch die auf oder untergehende Sonne erzeugt wird.Hauchfeine und sehr zarte Linien verdeutlichen gut die ersten Strahlen der Sonne,welche den Character in ihrem Zentrum wissen.Auf die Weise wird ein gewisser lyrischer Look erzeugt die das bekannte "Licht am Horizont" auf sehr gelungende Art und Weise darstellt.Der Wellengang der über den Strand kommt hat diese feinen weißen Linien die man auch erwartet,sich aber dezent verhalten.
Alles in allem ein bildschönes und umwerfendes Bild mit einer gewissen lyrischen Note das wie übliches von großem Talent und kreativität geprägt ist.Zudem erinnert der Character an einen Zora aus Zelda,was durch den Strand noch unterstrichen wird.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich bisher noch keine Zelda-Spiele gespielt hab, aber ich hab mal gegooglet wie ein Zora aussieht und kann schon verstehen, warum Naia dich an einen Zora erinnert! o:
