Something traditional again, hooray! xDAs a birthday present for ~AyakoNoBaka - wszystkiego najlepszego z okazji urodzin! Happy birthday to you, my dear!
While I think the final result is okay, the whole picture gave me a surprising amount of trouble. When I saw Ongaku I knew I wanted to draw her because her design is SO good! Really neat <3 And I wanted to go for a simple pose, but... for whatever reason her legs gave me tons of trouble :'D You don't know how often I erased them again, but I think they're fine now. The coloring and lineart were rather problemless, but I already noticed that I had a bigger break from traditional drawings...
So when just Ongaku was finished I wondered about the background and decided to make it traditional in order for it to be quicker and look better. You don't know how wrong I was. After making the circles I wondered how to color it, but as I barely have any working felt pens left I decided to use my fineliners after all. NO GOOD IDEA. AT ALL. DON'T DO THAT. I DON'T RECOMMEND THAT. In the original the background looks far brighter than the character herself, so for once scanning (and editing) it actually improved it.On top of that I never realized what traces fineliners actually leave and it kind of makes me cry. I will never do that again. When both of the green fineliners almost ran out I didn't know what to do anymore!! Bright green - THANK GOD - made it, but dark green is completely empty now. Fortunately I had another one and the color was really similar to this one. Situaton saved. Just like that. Phew! That saved me from a mental breakdown.
Now I wanted to make the background transparent with a thin white border around the whole picture - and everything was done. But for whatever reason SAI never let's me save transparent things - which is usually no problem. I save the pic as .psd and do it with Photoshop. Except this time that completely messed the picture up and there were ugly back dots around the picture everywhere! I mean, why!!!!
Soooo, eventually I decided on a completey white background before my nerves completely left me
...Which was when I realized that I completely forgot the white parts I usually make with a gel pen Soooo I just made then digitally this time.Even with all this unnecessary chaos with this picture I still think it's okay, and hopefully you do as well! u.u

Ich finde es macht nichts, dass die weißen Teile per PC gemacht wurden hier :3 Hättest du es nicht erwähnt, wäre es mir gar nicht aufgefallen xD
Irgendwie find ich den Hintergrund hier cool, die Kreise geben echt was her und mir gefällt, dass das Bild nur bestimmte Farben haben, die gut zueinander passen und teilweise auch gemischt wurden ^^ Der style geht in Richtung Anthro hier, hat aber immer noch ein paar Sonic Elemente, mir gefällt diese Mischform echt gut X3

Puh, dann ist es doch nicht ganz so auffällig xD Wenn man genau guckt sieht man den Unterschied meiner Menung nach schon, aber so extrem scheint das Gott sei Dank nicht zu sein ^^

Und wieder danke! xD Ehrlich gesagt bin ich mir auch nicht sicher, ob das ein Sonic oder Anthro-Chara ist o.o Sie war früher ein Sonic-Fan aber zeichnet mittlerweile eigentlich nur Anthro... deswegen vermute ich mal, dass sie von einem isn andere reingerutscht ist x'D Und der Chara dementsprechend auch!

Ahh, if you like how it turned out then I definitely achieved what I wanted to
