Ahhh~, I'm FINALLY done with this commission for ArticaArtes ! This was a really fun one not only because he has awesome characters, but also because he asked me to include Amalika >u< Here, you can see Mane, the poor guy, being scolded by a very mad Vivian. Why is she mad? Amalika must have told her about something outrageous that Mane did (or didn't) do - and of course, she has to act bratty about it, as if to say "Bleh, serves you right!" ;D I usually draw characters with happy expressions (BECAUSE HAPPY STUFF IS GREAT), but it was also nice to play around with completely different expressions over here. I didn't realize how much fun that can be until this picture ;u;Fortunately, my new liners arrived on time to be used in this picture. They were really needed, especially for Vivi! All those blues and pink and different shades of grey... and those extra thin black fineliners! Loved using those 8D Watercolor pencils aren't so easy to color with, but personally I'm happy with the result ovo Adding some more colored pencil for mroe shade also proved to be a good idea~! o:

This is very good traditional work. I don't often see traditional meeting the same quality control standereds as digital works in a quality controlled group of mostly digital like Modern-Anthro.
I'm also impressed since I have trouble matching the scale of 2 or more characters interacting.

Oh, that is a bit intimidating at first, but it's really a matter of practice. The more often you try to draw 2 or more characters together, the better it works out ^^

Was nuitzt du eigentlich für Stifte für die Outlines? Ich würde sagen Stabilos aber ich könnt mich auch irren! Generell deine Coloration sieht immer so interessant aus <3

Früher habe ich Stabilos benutzt, aber die laufen irgendwann aus und das Bild sieht dann ganz doof aus ;n; Außerdem sind die nicht wasser- und lichtfest. Deswegen nutze ich Faber Castell PITT artist pens ( 1 | 2 ), Copic Multiliner , und neuerdings auch Aristo Pigmentliner . Ich hoffe das hilft! ovo

OHHH! Copic Multiliners? Wir hatten uns im Ebay die Tage mal Copics angeschaut (weil ich irgendwann mir welche wieder holen mag aber momentan gehts halt wegen dem Geld nicht) und da fand ich die Copic Multiliner, aber ich war so: "Hmmm neee.... " Aber wenn ich deine tollen Ergebnisse sehe, dann sollte ich vielleicht irgendwann einmal investieren nur vorher ne Bank ausrauben haha. Danke, das ist wirklich eine wunderbare Hilfe >v<

Da muss man leider schon ein wenig Geld investieren ;o;" Ich habe mir früher sogar Copic Multiliner SP gekauft, aber die sind noch teurer >_< Bei Zeichen-Center Ebeling kriegt man die normalen Multilienr auch für 3€ das Stück! Die Multiliner SP lohnen sich mehr, wenn man die nachfüllt, aber das Zeichen-Center Ebeling führt die Nachfüllspitzen nicht mehr und überall anders sind die so teuer, dass sich das einfach nicht lohnt und ich dann lieber die normalen Multilienr kaufe x'D Die Faber Castell PITT artist pens funktionieren aber genauso gut und sind mit ca. 2,30€ das Stück etwas güstiger ovo

Danke für all die Tips Amalika, sobald ich wieder Geld habe werde ich das auf jeden Fall mal ausprobieren *o* Ich hab aber noch eine Frage! Arbeitet man mit diesen Stiften auf normalen Papier oder MUSS man Markerpapier nutzen?
Ich nutze 99% Druckerpapier weil ich teilweise Unmengen zeichne, aber zum Beispiel ist Copics auf Druckerpapier eine Sünde die man superschnell bereut (das Papier saugt den Stift aus!)
Was empfielst du für die Artist Pens oder funktionieren die wie ganz normale Stifte?

Ich habe sie zuerst auf Druckerpapier getestet und das hat ganz gut funktioniert ovo Ich weiß zwar nicht, ob es dann auch mit Wasser klappt, aber da vermute ich mal, dass eher das Papier wellig wird als dass die Fineliner verschmieren xD
Und die PITT artist pens lassen sich ganz normal benutzen wie Stabilos oder andere Fineliner auch ovo Bei meiner neuen Lieferung ist mit allerdings mit den Farben "Dark Sepia" und "Sanguine" passiert, dass diese etwas verschmiert sind. Vermutlich bin ich da an einer Stelle zu oft drübergegangen und das Papier musste das erstmal aufsaugen ^^" Nachdem ich mehr aufgepasst habe, ist auch nichts mehr passiert!
Beim Kauf von PITT artist pens würde ich aber auf zwei Dinge achten. Zum einen gibt es PITT artist pen Fineliner und PITT artist pen BRUSH. Was ich benutze sind die Fineliner, die ganz normal wie Stabilos usw. funktionieren. Bei BRUSH bekommt man so eine dicke pinselartige Spitze. Bestimmt auch gut, aber ich persönlich kann damit nicht viel anfangen o: Zum anderen würde ich mich vor dem Kauf nach der Dicke der Spitzen informieren. Beim ersten mal habe ich diese in "F" gekauft, was sich als 0,5mm rausgestellt hat und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu dick ist. Da mag ich "S" (=0,3mm) doch mehr. Falls du da also eine Vorliebe hast, würde ich mich vorher mal informieren ovo

Vivian has some traits of tsundere I presume. XD Maybe someday Vivian will eventually warm up towards Mane and not give him such a hard time.
