Again, I appreciate the interest, but I wasn't planning on one. Although, unlike the other caption, this one could go places. The situation hasn't been settled. Does the husband go through with the "date"? Does he get his wife back? If I did return to this, it wouldn't be as a "part 2" of this caption; it would be a story that starts before this conversation and continues until the situation is resolved. I might just do that! (But until then, I am working on a new "costume gun" vignette that should appear in the next few days.)

Thanks. I've had that pic sitting around for weeks/months; finally inspiration struck and then (surprisingly) it all came together in a couple of hours. What did I learn from that? One should never try to force a story (or caption). When the time is right, it'll practically write itself.

I have to agree with you. My muse has been driving me nuts. But when I sit down to write a story. For some reason over the last few weeks they have just written themselves.
