Pftth, whateva! You KNOW its all about Angelica Jones, son! It should have been called "Firestar with special guest the Amazing Whatshisface". Hellya! I don't expect a whole lotta you youts to remember this show... but was big on Spidey at the time... and thought Firestar was a hottie!! Hope you enjoy!

My kids just started watching Spidey and his friends on netflix. I'm pretty much smitten with Firestar. Maybe it's the skin tight outfit, or the red hair, or the fact that they drew her to be hot as hell. Whatever it is it led me here, and kudos to you for this pic.

IIRC, she was created for Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends... pretty interesting character, though I'm a Spider-Man fan, so I can't say he should have been second-string.

Just reading through some of your comments. Good to know that I am not alone - it really was all about Firestar. I thought she was absolutely gorgeous back then too - and I still do! Nicely executed!
Man, I miss those 80's shows, Ulysses, Transformers, He-Man & the Masters of the Universe - I Have The Power!, Mask, ThunderCats, Centurions, Defenders of the Earth, G-Force, Mysterious Cities of Gold - how awesome was that?, Bravestar, DangerMouse/Inspector Gadget - who's narration used to make me roll about the floor laughing, Dinoriders, Dungeons & Dragons, The Incredible Hulk, Godzilla, it just goes on... 16:00hrs weekdays & Saturday mornings are just not the same anymore!
This definitely calls for an erotic art makeover... it's time to subvert those childhood fantasies!

LMAO...I love your artist's comment. I agree whole heartedly. I loved the Spider-Man and friends show when I was younger. I still love the marvel characters, so much so in fact that I got a spidey tattoo of him hanging up-side down from a strand of webbing that goes up to my nipple several years ago....fuck that hurt. It'll be a while before I get venom hanging from the opposite one reaching out to grab the web head.

Thats not a bad idea either. The reason I was thinking venom was because with all my tattoos, the ones on the left side of my body/left arm are color, and the right side of my body/right arm are black and white. Seeing as how black cat is black and while (besides the skin tone) she would fit in to that as well as venom.

i have 3 out of 4 of the original series... i still dont know how this run ended.... they reprinted it recently, in graphic novel format... but... it cant replace having the originals...!
